We can provide fusion splicer if you do not have one. This is a production based position. Lots of work available.

We are seeking a skilled Fiber Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fiber optic cables and networks.

Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fiber optic cables and networks
- Perform splicing, termination, and testing of fiber optic cables
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment for fiber optic work

Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge for handling fiber optic cables
- atleast 1 year experience building Commscope and or Coyote Dome enclosures.

-experience opening ribbon cables, splicing ribbon fiber, splicing single fiber, de ribbonize and ribbonize fiber

-ability to read cut sheets and asbuilts.

-experience using an exfo otdr to test splice ports and save files.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $1,000.00 - $2,500.00 per week
