LCG Advisors is looking for an Analyst/Associate within our Specialty Lending Group. This role is highly visible and involves routine interaction with our clients, including large money-center banks (such as JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, and Regions Bank), institutional lenders, and investors seeking to extend investment into the specialty finance space.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct due diligence services, including on-site or remote field examinations, portfolio reviews, and acquisition due diligence on behalf of our clients
• Input examination findings into Excel workpaper templates and produce a comprehensive written report for lenders describing the results and listing findings or exceptions
• Evaluate transactions on a case-by-case basis within the scope of work provided by our clients
• Perform professional interactions with clients, including conference calls and meetings

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; Masters preferred
• 2-4 years of ABL work experience preferred but not required
• Relevant work experience with exposure to specialty finance space (consumer or commercial lender, for example) is highly preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word, or other data extraction programs

• Strong analytical skills with a willingness to learn new things
• Naturally inquisitive on all topics relating to transactions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to meet strict deadlines

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Flexibility for travel (up to 40 %)

Salary Range:

• $60,000 - $65,000 base with bonus opportunity
