KUBOTA OF OMAHA is seeking a skilled and highly motivated Agricultural Parts Counter Sales person to join our team!

Job Description:

A successful candidate will be detail oriented, self-motivated, and efficient. This individual will have a positive attitude along with excellent sales, computer and customer service skills! Responsible for inventory management, increasing parts sales, filling parts orders via phone, walk-in customers, as well as internal shop. Parts sales experience and lawn/garden, construction and small tractor equipment knowledge preferred!

Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Parts Manager, this position:

• Will be responsible for inventory management
• Increase Parts Sales
• Fill parts orders via phone, walk-in customers as well as internal shop
• Maintain positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
• Prepares new equipment prior to initial customer delivery
• Other duties as assigned

Job Skills:

The Parts Counters Sales must:

• Have extensive knowledge of lawn/garden; construction and small tractor equipment, and related engines and equipment
• Maintain and cultivate a professional relationship with fellow employees, company owners, customers, and product vendors
• Be computer literate and possess the ability to learn and utilize software such as CDK Global Business system, manufacturer’s parts systems, spreadsheets, and email
• Be able to safely operate a forklift truck, hoists, and other specialty equipment, and be able to maintain shop safety practices within OSHA guidelines

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1-2-years progressive experience in farm equipment, diesel truck, or automotive operations recommended.
• Related mechanical repair experience will be considered
• Valid driver’s license
• Pre-employment drug screen, motor vehicle records check, and background check required
