Summary We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to work for our expanding after-hours pediatric urgent care practices. Description JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Assessing pediatric patients Administering oral, rectal, intramuscular and intravenous medications Assisting in procedures Performing pediatric venipuncture, IV insertion, and maintenance Obtaining sterile specimen via urinary catheterization Remaining knowledgeable in pediatric pharmacology Utilizing critical thinking Working well with the interdisciplinary PM Pediatrics team Qualifications Pediatric experience is required Active state nursing license Prior experience and competency with nursing procedures (not limited to, IV placement, urinary straight catheterization, and medication administration) Pediatric Emergency Room, Pediatric Hospital Unit or Pediatrics Urgent Care experience preferred Basic Life Support certification is required and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification is a plus Weekend and evening availability required.
