An Upscale French Restaurant Group is seeking a motivated, experienced individual to join our company as a Server to provide excellent customer service and an enjoyable dining experience for our patrons. For this position, we are looking for someone who will not only execute the standard steps of service, but also develop a strong rapport with our clientele by going above and beyond for each guest.
Location: 20 E 60th street, NY,NY
Primary responsibilities:
- Greet customers and present menus
- Make suggestions based on their preferences
- Take and serve food/drinks orders
- Upsell when appropriate
- Arrange table settings
- Keep tables clean and tidy at all times
- Deliver checks and collect payments
- Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
- Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines
Skills and qualifications:
- Listen and communicate in a professional and friendly manner
- Focus on customer satisfaction
- Be efficient and organized
- Build good relationships with customers
- Maintain a clean work environment
Languages: French and Italian (highly preferred)
