We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join the team supporting warehouse material handling automation, robotics, and manufacturing process automation.
Responsibilities:
- Create fully detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.
- Participate in round table discussions of new products, applications, innovative technology,
- concepts, and applications.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in the mechanical design and implementation of robotics systems and manufacturing process automation.
- Experience with Fanuc and Kuka is a plus.
- Ability to develop effective designs and solutions quickly and efficiently.
- Strong expertise in Solidworks.
- Able to demonstrate analytic skills such as FEA for mechanical systems.
- Must have the skill set to generate budgetary proposals/estimates.
- Sound knowledge of mechatronic engineering principles.
- Support the commissioning of products, systems, and applications.
- Can work independently or collaboratively as required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and suppliers.
- Travel to customer sites.
- Strong work ethic.
- Some weekend work is required from time to time.
- BSME/MSME or equivalent.
