Position: Site Director – After School Programs

Location: Baltimore, MD

Position Type: Part-time [2:00PM-5:00PM / 3:00PM-6:00PM]

Pay Rate: $25-$30 per hour

Overview: As a Site Director for our after-school programs, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the success of our programs aimed at K-12th grade students. You will be responsible for creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where students can participate in enriching activities that promote their academic, social, and physical development.

Responsibilities:

  • Program Management:
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee the implementation of daily after-school activities and curriculum.
  • Ensure programs align with educational standards and meet the needs of participants.
  • Monitor program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Community and Parent Engagement:
  • Build positive relationships with students, their families, school personnel, and community stakeholders.
  • Communicate program goals, policies, and activities to parents and caregivers.
  • Collaborate with community organizations to enhance program offerings and resources.
  • Administrative Duties:
  • Maintain accurate program records, attendance, and participant data.
  • Prepare reports for funders, stakeholders, and organizational leadership as required.
  • Manage program budget and resources effectively.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Ensure a safe environment through adherence to all safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • 1 years of experience in youth programs, education, or nonprofit management.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience with the ability to motivate and engage youth.
  • Passion for working with children and promoting their personal growth.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with underserved youth.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Pursuing degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
