Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift to transport materials and products throughout the warehouse
- Load and unload materials onto and off pallets, skids, or trucks
- Move goods to designated storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other equipment
- Stack and store merchandise in appropriate locations
- Ensure accurate inventory counts by performing cycle counts as required
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times
- Inspect forklifts and other warehouse equipment daily and report any defects or issues
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse environment
- Valid certification to operate a forklift (if required by state or local regulations)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
