Job Title: Production Manager
Summary: This position is directly responsible for the leadership of five or more manufacturing department supervisors wherein the Manager provide critical leadership to those personnel towards driving them in supporting the Company’s goals and objectives. Consistent, professional, and timely communication, both verbal and written, are required to communicate with team members and peers. LTC promotes a collaborative, team-oriented environment that must be championed by the Production Manager. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working outside established lanes without alienating or sacrificing peers.
This job entails balancing On Time Delivery and Quality while doing so in the most efficient manner possible while continuing to challenge the status quo. This candidate should expect 80% of their time being spent with hands on, direct engagement of personnel, equipment, and material. This position requires the candidate to be directly involved in the day-to-day activities while maintaining oversight and control of the Company’s strategic goals and objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meeting Customer Delivery Schedules
• Achieving and maintaining on-time delivery status with all customers
• Achieving Customer Quality Criteria
• Meeting quality requirements set forth by LTC and customers
• Manufacturing Capacity and Staffing Levels
• Coordinated effort with LTC Operations Manager to produce appropriate staffing and scheduling plans that are appropriate for LTC production demands
• Productivity of All Direct Reports and Their Individual Departments
• All production and all shifts
• Responsible for ensuring all LTC manufacturing departments are following LTC approved processes and procedures for the manufacturing of all products.
• Responsible for ensuring all LTC manufacturing departments are following LTC approved processes and procedures for Environmental, Health and Safety of employees and facilities.
• Able to respond via email, telephone, or text to pertinent inquires and communication when not physically on-site.
• Responsible for efficiency and utilization of all departments to be measured by data agreed upon with LTC Operations Manager.
• Responsible for the creation and execution of employee evaluations for direct reports
• Review and approval of all employee reviews and request for change in wages of direct report’s employees prior to execution.
• Process Improvement
• Responsible for identification and communication of potential LTC process improvements.
• Responsible for the implementation and continued monitoring of LTC management approved process improvements.

• Proven ability to coach, lead and motivate direct and indirect personnel across multiple shifts
• Able to receive and process significant amounts of data, filtering through information received to prioritize all input received

Qualifications:

• Management of no less than 75 employees at one time
• Manufacturing experience of no less than ten years
• Undergraduate degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience preferred
• Experience managing production systems through KPI’s utilizing information to target scrap reduction, efficiency improvements, and overall continuous improvement
• Management of multiple shifts
• Syteline or similar ERP software
• Comprehension of customer or proprietary drawings and specifications
• Previous hands-on manufacturing experience
• Passion and experience for employee development with direct reports
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
