LeafWing Center is Hiring an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Near Palm Desert, CA

Job Description: Early Childhood Educator (ECE):ECEs work as part of a team of interventionists (ECEs, SLPs, OTs, Psychologists) working directly with infants at risk for developmental disabilities in-clinic and in the child's home. ECEs implement a comprehensive program focusing on addressing all assessed areas of developmental delay (e.g., language development, play skills, etc.,). ECEs are required to record data for the programs that they are implementing with the children and to write a summary note each time that they work with a child, team, or caregivers. ECEs will report directly to the Program Director.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay Range: $17-19 per hour
Work Hour & Travel:
  • Work hours/days are flexible and position hours are defined as on a "work as needed" basis but with a set schedule
  • Work locations: clinic, client home
Ideal candidates:
  • Must be patient, excellent with children, possess good social skills, be tolerant and empathetic towards people, and have a natural desire to want to help children with special needs
  • Must have a clean driving and criminal record
