Field Engineer - Cable Loading

Location: USA (Providence Shore)

Start Date: July 26th 2024

Duration: Minimum of 1 month, with the possibility of extension based on project progress

We are seeking a skilled Field Engineer to join our client’s team from their Netherlands office for a cable loading project from Providence shore to the cable transport vessel. This position requires expertise in cable installation or cable loading, though candidates with general offshore field engineering experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and participate in the cable loading process from Providence shore to the transport vessel.
• Ensure all operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with the team to address and solve any technical issues that arise during the project.
• Monitor project progress and report any deviations from the plan.
• Maintain clear communication with the project manager and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in cable installation or cable loading is highly valued.
• General (offshore) field engineering experience is also acceptable.
• Must possess a valid US (B1) Visa or be eligible to apply for one immediately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
