You will be part of a close-knit team of highly skilled individuals who fall under the Head of Financial Controlling. As a Finance Operations Manager, you will be working cross-functionally with the Accounting team to deliver best-in-class service to both internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with our Customer Success Management team to optimise billing processes and enhance financial support for client accounts, ensuring alignment with customer retention and satisfaction goals.
The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth running of the Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Treasury and continuous improvement of processes and technology stack. As mentioned above, the team is small and close-knit, which means you would need to possess a can-do attitude and be willing to roll up your sleeves to get things done. Due to growth, increasing complexity and drive for continuous process improvements, this role will require a focus on enhancing existing processes and controls, in collaboration with the wider Financial Controlling team.
Position OverviewYou will drive the process of managing finance operations from our office in London or Global HQ in Copenhagen and you will report directly to the Head of Financial Controlling based in Copenhagen. You will take ownership of all regions in the group and will be responsible for:
  • Accounts Receivables; ensuring stakeholders are managed with timely follow-ups for outstanding collections
  • Accounts Payable team, ensuring stakeholders are managed with timely vendor payments
  • Treasury; ensuring cash flow is efficiently managed within Group guidelines including liquidity exposure limits, authority limits, banking relationships
  • Improve and review reporting, quality, accuracy and timeliness of controls of Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, and Treasury
  • Supporting the Head of Financial Controlling on special projects
  • Liaising with the Accounting team to ensure month-end close requirements are fulfilled
  • Contributing towards management reporting in the areas specified above
  • Identifying areas of improvement, through automation, process improvements or people efficiencies

Requirements
  • 7-10 years of experience within Finance Operations (Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables and Treasury)
  • Avid data and tech user constantly seeking to improve and optimise processes
  • A recognised accounting qualification (or QBE) is essential
  • US GAAP and IFRS knowledge is desirable
  • Ideally you have experience from a Tech company and experience within SaaS metrics.
  • You are motivated by working across teams and different areas.
  • You are hands-on, analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • You take initiative and thrive to drive processes
  • You are always willing to challenge the way we are doing things so we can do even better going forward
  • You are curious and willing learn in an ever changing finance landscape
  • You like sharing your knowledge and you are sharp and precise in your communication
  • You are enthusiastic about learning new programs and applications
  • Netsuite knowledge is a must
