Learfield is Hiring a Senior Accountant Near Jefferson, MO
The Senior Accountant serves as the primary point of contact for assigned areas of responsibility supporting close and consolidation of the LEARFIELD group of companies (standalone and consolidated) for internal management reporting, external reporting and tax reporting. The Senior Accountant will be assigned responsibilities commensurate with experience in operational areas such as corporate, consolidation and/or operational business unit.
Responsibilities
- :Design and implement effective financial statement disclosure controls and procedures; financial close
- .Complete assigned responsibilities for monthly close including preparation of monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and other support (i.e., rollforward, transaction support)
- .Design process improvement and information systems enhancements to support the business environment (e.g., ledger maintenance, subledger maintenance, ancillary system maintenance)
- .Serve as Accounting liaison supporting external audit
- .Perform Adhoc financial analysis and special projects
