LEARN has an opening for an anticipated energetic Intervention Specialist in our Riverside Magnet School on the campus of Goodwin University in East Hartford for the 2022-2023 school year. This paraprofessional position supports the educational and behavioral development of Special Education students, working with a dynamic classroom team to provide instructional support, student monitoring and data collection. Training in Safety Care techniques is provided.
Qualifications: Level 1: Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma and hold Parapro certification. Experience working with students with Special Education needs preferred.
Level 2: Minimum of Associates degree or two years college (equaling 60 credits or more). Experience working with students with Special Education needs preferred.
