The Connecticut River Academy High School located in East Hartford is actively searching for a Special Education Teacher to join our dynamic team of educators. The Connecticut River Academy (http://www.ctriveracademy.org) is an early college magnet high school with the theme of Sustainability, operated by Goodwin University on its river campus in East Hartford. The successful candidate should possess an understanding of and an appreciation for multicultural education, knowledge of best practice, curriculum instruction and assessment. Must be able to encourage students to work to the best of their abilities and to take pride in their achievements, providing a stimulating environment in which students learn, interact and grow academically, socially and emotionally.
