Job Overview:
The Director at the Learning Leadership Center in Rock Hill, SC, is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the childcare center, ensuring the provision of high-quality early childhood education and care. This role involves managing staff, curriculum development, compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.

Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the childcare center, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures that meet state licensing requirements and best practices in early childhood education.

• Engage in marketing and outreach activities to maintain and grow enrollment.

2. Staff Leadership:

• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise qualified staff, including teachers, assistants, and administrative personnel.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing professional development opportunities.

3. Curriculum Development:

• Develop and oversee the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum and educational programs.

• Ensure the curriculum meets the developmental needs of children and aligns with the center's educational philosophy.

4. Compliance and Quality Assurance:

• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health, safety, and licensing standards.

• Regularly review and update center policies and procedures to maintain high standards of care and education.

5. Financial Management:

• Develop and manage the center's budget, ensuring financial sustainability and resource allocation.

• Oversee billing, tuition collection, and financial reporting.

6. Program Evaluation and Improvement:

• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of programs and services, implementing improvements as needed.

Qualifications:

• Certification in Early Child Education
• Previous experience in a leadership or management role
