Learning Prep School in Newton, MA is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide school-based services to our students in grades 5-12 and join our faculty at the start of the 2024-2025 School Year.This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team of highly qualified special education professionals! The purpose of this position is to focus on academics, leisure, social participation, and work skills of our students. Our students have complex learning needs and we are committed to providing them with the education they deserve! LPS is a school for kids with complex profiles whose primary area of need is a language-based learning disability. While we are not a therapeutic setting or a program for students with significant behavior support needs, we do offer speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, and counseling as part of our service delivery model.
