Core Duties & Responsibilities
- Review and manage open purchase order information to ensure accuracy and timeliness of actual expected receipt dates within the ERP system.
- Communicate with vendors/OEMs to extract material delivery information.
- Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision.
- Unload delivery trucks using a forklift, pallet jack, or other warehouse equipment.
- Review inbound shipments and verify items and quantities before taking delivery, signing Bill of Ladings, and receiving documentation. Make notation of discrepancies
- Process all incoming material receipts within ERP system.
- Stocking and restocking of items in their proper locations in the warehouses as needed.
- Pull sales orders for fulfillment from warehouse as directed by picking ticket (or other method) in priority assigned to satisfy customer on time deliveries.
- Package, label, and ship sales orders utilizing all ground and/or air shipment methods as required.
- Manage inventory accuracy by utilizing an appropriate cycle counting regiment along with proper ERP material transactions.
- Staging of parts, assembly of parts using of bill of materials and schematics and testing of final product.
- Interacts with Allied team members, via telephone, email, virtual or in person to provide support.
- Always maintains a positive, empathic, and professional attitude toward customers.
- Perform all work using safety equipment as instructed while obeying all safety rules and procedures.
- High school diploma.
- At least 3 years of proven work experience within a similar role. Managing hourly warehouse staff is a plus.
- Experience working within ERP systems such as NetSuite for material transacting.
- Purchasing and/or customer service experience is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate with all levels of company staff.
- Proficiency with computer packages such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Forklift Certification or the ability to obtain certification. (Must be able to pass operating and written test. Training will be provided by the company if applicable).
- Ability to perform mathematical conversions for weight measurements, volume, and distance.
- Knowledge of standard ERP system material transacting.
- Acts independently and on own initiative with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively present information in a clear and organized manner and respond professionally and appropriately to all requests.
- Assembly of parts using bill of material and schematics is a plus.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, and use hands to finger, handle or free objects.
- The use of common hand tools and occasionally sharp tools are involved.
- Must be able to talk, hear, and communicate with other employees.
- Must be able to move and/or lift objects up to 50 pounds often
