Position Location: New York, New York
Position DescriptionA large global law firm is seeking a Billing Specialist to join their renown team in New York City. The role will require generating, printing, and distributing prebills, and then finalizing invoices for distribution to clients. The role will involve following up with partners to assure billing deadlines are met and responding to inquiries from clients or other legal support professionals. This person will also perform narrative edits, adjustments, and write-offs, ensuring compliance with client guidelines and firm policies.
Required SkillsIn addition to 3 years of relevant experience, the qualified candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. The firm seeks a self-driven individual that thinks analytically and critically while applying excellent communication and project management skills. The Billing Specialist must be proficient in Microsoft Office and a legal billing platform such as Elite or Aderant.
