Ledgent Finance & Accounting is Hiring an AP Accountant Near North Haven, CT
Ledgent is partnering with growing construction company in North Haven, CT to hire an AP Accountant. This position is expected to be fully on-site Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:30am-4pm. Salary is between $50,000-70,000/annually, depending on experience. They are looking for eager, communicative, detail-oriented individuals ready to hit the ground running in this fast-paced role.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Project Managers & Administrators to ensure invoices are matched accurately to subcontracts & purchase orders
- Generate & review month job cost reports
- Process weekly over 100 invoices weekly
- Request & maintain W-9s
- Handle vendor account set up & management
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of hands on experience in accounts payable or junior accounting role
- Construction industry highly preferred (manufacturing, wholesale, distribution & related industries are welcome to apply!)
- AS or BS Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred
- ERP experience (Spectrum is a plus)
