Senior Accountant

Immediate start- Temporary 3 months

Boston, MA- Mission Hill - Hybrid 4 days onsite (flexible which day)

$35- $45/hour

Our higher education client based in Boston, MA is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to start immediately to assist with yearend.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
• 4 years full cycle General Ledger accounting experience
• WORKDAY Certified or Extensive & Recent WORKDAY Experience required
• MS Office, Advanced Excel- (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP's, Sum If) required
• Highly experience in performing complex, high volume account reconciliations.
• Must have:balance sheet reconciliation, Expenditures, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Financial reporting, financialstatement
• Experience in Audit schedule preparation
• Experience preparing and uploading complex journal entries for review.
• Alternatively, candidates must have experience with other high-end accounting/ERP systems and working with multi- dimensional Chart of Accounts fields.

Responsibilities:

• Year end closing and audit preparation
• Balance Sheet reconciliations, to true up the P&L accounting for year-end audit and prepare year-end audit.
• Preparing and uploading complex journal entries for review
• Balance sheet account reconciliation types

• Payroll & Benefit Withholding accounts.
• Prepaid expense.
• Accrued Expense.
• Fixed Assets.
• Receivables
• Assist with various Cash and Suspense/Clearing accounts.
