Direct Hire Opportunity

Location: Sarasota, FL

Pay : $25-$30 an hour W2

*Must pass a background check and drug test**

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

* Administer oaths and participate in depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings which take place in office locations and remotely once licensed as a notary.

* Utilize technology to record legal proceedings in accordance with established guidelines, rules, and procedures.

* Administer web-conference sessions and facilitate group meetings.

* Transport, set up, and operate computer audio equipment.

* Communicate with clients and multiple parties in a professional setting.

* Prepare audio files, exhibits, and documents for subsequent transcription.

* Perform other administrative job duties as needed by leadership or departmental needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Proficient with the use of computer technology including software applications and web-conference platforms.

* Typing speed of 50 word per minute with a high rate of accuracy.

* Ability to obtain a state Notary Commission and administer oaths.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

* Ability to accommodate a flexible/on call schedule.

SKILLS:

* Using integrated computer technologies and devices.

This role requires reporting onsite to various locations throughout the week on a set schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

§ Legal Responsibilities (we train you): Administer oaths and participate/lead depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings, from your home, office, and remotely.

§ Technology Use: Transport, set up, and operate computer audio equipment to our office or remotely.

§ Document Preparation: Prepare legal proceeding audio files, exhibits, and documents for transcription.

§ Administrative Support: When not in a legal proceeding, perform other administrative duties from home on your set schedule.

Requirements:

§ Tech Enthusiast: Comfortable with computers and software.

§ Quick Typist: Typing speed of 50 words per minute.

§ Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication.

§ Notary: Ability to obtain a state Notary Commission as applicable (we help!).

§ AAERT Certification: Required in some states; if not already AAERT Certified, we train you!
