We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join one of our clients in the Tigard area. This is a direct hire opportunity, offering a robust benefits package. Interested candidates can apply directly or email resumes

Primary responsibilities:

• Performs all activities necessary to process one or more multi-state payrolls including maintaining related records, reviewing automated system output such as registers and standard reports, determining and correcting out of balance conditions, and overseeing state/federal payroll tax returns
• Ensure timely, accurate and compliant delivery and quality of payroll by analyzing, preparing, and inputting payroll
• Support all internal and external audits related to payroll, worker's compensation, corporate and benefit plans
• Ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements
• Prepare relevant monthly, quarterly, year-end and ad hoc reports as requested
• Be the subject matter expert for payroll systems and processes.
• Assess procedures and documentations to develop new automation to allow more efficient workflow for the department.
• Update and maintain HRIS and Time and Attendance systems

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Intermediate Excel proficiency
• Associate degree or equivalent experience required
