My client is in immediate need of an attorney with commercial contract experience to cover for a maternity leave. This position will support various business units by reviewing and drafting commercial agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, revise, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements
• Collaborate with internal business units to provide legal guidance on agreements, policies, and processes
• Identify risks and propose alternative structures to mitigate risks in potential transactions
• Assist with intellectual property and corporate governance matters
• Advise on legal aspects of sales, marketing, purchasing, information technology, lease, and other agreements
• Conduct legal research and render interpretive memoranda as needed
• Participate in the development and interpretation of departmental policies
• Perform other job-related functions as assigned

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Experience in drafting, revising, and negotiating commercial contracts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience with intellectual property and corporate governance is a plus
