Our client, a leader in their industry, is seeking a General Manager with a focus on business development to lead their subsidiary in the Florida market and expand its presence. This role will involve direct and indirect management of 40-60 employees, with the opportunity to grow the organization further with the support of the parent company.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager with a strong background in leading diverse teams and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in business development and new market penetration, as well as managing teams across sales, operations, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity across all departments
  • Lead and manage a team encompassing sales and operations
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and achieve business objectives
  • Identify and penetrate new markets to expand the business
  • Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality standards and addressing any issues promptly
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure profitability
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and partners
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Implement and manage effective sales and marketing strategies
  • Provide regular performance updates to senior management

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager, with a focus on business development and new market penetration
  • Experience managing sales and operations teams
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish highly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and forecasting
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans
