Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst with strong Power BI capabilities to join our finance team. This role involves a 60/40 split between using Power BI for reporting and dashboard management and performing traditional accounting and finance analyst duties. The ideal candidate will be an expert user of Power BI and Excel, with solid corporate finance experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Power BI to run, adjust, and manage reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
- Analyze financial data and generate insights to support business decisions.
- Conduct financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and metrics.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
- Assist in the budgeting and planning processes, providing detailed analysis and recommendations.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze financial information.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a financial analyst or similar role.
- Expert user of Power BI, with demonstrated experience in running and managing reports and dashboards.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance principles and financial analysis techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
