Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team. This is an entry-level position solely assisting the HR department with clerical duties, and assisting with employee events, such as orientation, training, birthdays, etc.
Duties:
- Assist with recruitment processes such as job postings, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks
- Maintain employee records and handle HR-related documentation
- Support benefits administration including enrollments and changes
- Assist in compliance with OSHA regulations and employment labor laws
- Aid in HR sourcing activities to attract top talent
- Utilize HR systems like Paychex, HRIS, and SAP for data entry and reporting
- Assist with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) processes
- Collect and analyze HR data for reporting purposes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred but not required
- Proven experience as an HR Assistant or relevant administrative role 1-2 yrs
- Knowledge of HR processes, procedures, and best practices
- Familiarity with HR systems such as Paychex, HRIS, and SAP
- Understanding of FMLA regulations and benefits administration
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities -Bilingual is a plus
