Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Associate to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex litigation, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. As a Senior Litigation Associate, you will play a key role in representing clients in high-stakes legal disputes, providing strategic advice, and driving case strategy from inception through resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, trials, and appeals.
  • Conduct legal research, draft briefs, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Develop and implement case strategies in consultation with clients and senior partners.
  • Provide clients with clear and timely advice and updates on case status and strategy.
  • Supervise junior associates and paralegals, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to deadlines.
  • Prepare and present oral arguments in court.
  • Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions when appropriate.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends relevant to litigation practices.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • Minimum of [5-7] years of litigation experience, preferably in a large law firm or similar environment.
  • Proven track record of managing complex litigation cases from start to finish.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle a high caseload and manage multiple priorities.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a specific area of litigation such as commercial, employment, intellectual property, or securities.
  • Proven success in trial and appellate courts.
  • Leadership experience and the ability to mentor junior staff.
