We are currently recruiting for a senior tax accountant to join an expanding tax department with a large company headquartered here in South Florida. This role will report to the director of tax and handle federal & state income tax. Some familiarity with provisions is a plus. The position was created due to company growth.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal and state income tax
• Assist with tax research and planning
• Review tax provisions under ASC 740 (FAS109) and FIN18
• Maintain various internal tax reports
• Various related duties as required

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in accounting (Masters in tax preferred)
• Certified Public Accountant a plus
• 2-3 years of related experience
• Experience with a large tax software package
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
