STEEL CONSTRUCTION WORKERS "Bahamas"

MUST HAVE PASSPORT.

Must submit application for “Short Term Work Permit”

Job Duration: 5- 6 Weeks.

Start pay for workers is $28.00 an hour

3 meals and lodging provided to workers.

Job Details:

Steel Construction Workers will be installing prefab metal buildings, but the difference is these buildings will not have metal roofs on them. The roofs will be a solar panel roofing system.

Steel Construction workers

Move heavy steel posts, erect steal beams and purlins into place, and verify plumb and level placement
Tighten and check nuts and bolts
Read plan sets to confirm correct placement of structural members and racking components such as brackets, supports and cross bracing
Install Solar modules on top of steel structure
Operate Scissor lift and Boom lift as needed
Direct operation of lifting equipment (Tele-handler, Crane and Forklift) Operators by others
Direct traffic and spot lifting equipment using standard hand signals and flagging, cones, caution tape, etc.
Attend safety meetings and abide by all rules of the General contractor

TOOLS: Please bring appropriate basic small hand tools for doing steel construction work. Ideally limit the weight for your check bag with tools to 50 lbs.

It is necessary to have 75lbs or 100lbs to bring appropriate tools we pay the baggage fee.

If you bring tape measures, ideally, they will have metric units.

You must have certifications for operating scissor lift and boom lift.

Forklift certifications and can handle an articulating telehandler.
