As a manager of housekeeping services, you will help to maintain this high level of service through your outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills and your ability to organize a variety of department activities. Responsibilities

Manages the daily operational activities of two or more of the following service lines: Housekeeping, Laundry and Linens, or Patient Transportation in alignment with the mission, values, and objectives of the department and organization.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Facilities Management, or related field or equivalent experience required.

Experience: Minimum of five years of progressively responsible work experience in housekeeping or food services supervision or management. Experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred. Thorough knowledge of operations, including staffing and scheduling, budget management and work-flow planning. Experience with using every day technology tools (e.g. email, spreadsheets, word processing, voicemail, internet / intranet) to access, organize and store job-related information.

Skills: Requires Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
