Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Floor Supervisor to join our team at Balance Assisted Living and Memory Care, located in Lodi. The Floor Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional care for our residents, and maintaining a supportive environment for our staff.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities on the assigned floor of the assisted living and memory care facility.
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing assistants, caregivers, and other staff members.
• Monitor resident care plans and ensure they are implemented effectively and according to individual needs.
• Conduct regular rounds to assess resident wellbeing, address any concerns, and provide support as needed.
• Assist with staff scheduling, ensuring adequate coverage and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the nursing team, including Health & Wellness Director to deliver comprehensive care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents promptly, ensuring the safety and security of residents and staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident records, incidents, and any changes in condition.
• Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Uphold facility policies and procedures, promoting a culture of respect, dignity, and person-centered care.

Requirements:

• 3 years of proven experience as a supervisor or lead caregiver in assisted living, memory care, or similar healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of regulations and best practices in assisted living and memory care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to caregiving.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in stressful situations.
• CPR and First Aid certification (may be required, depending on location).
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare or gerontology is a plus.
