Legal.io is working with a Fintech company seeking an experienced Legal Operations professional for an 11-month contract. This is a hybrid position with potential to extend / convert to a direct hire employee.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Provide support and assistance on outside counsel and vendor management, legal billing, accrual reporting and tracking legal spend.
• Assist with the processing of legal invoices through Thomson Reuters Legal Tracker.
• Assist with cross-functional communication with business partners from Accounting, Accounts Payable and Financial Planning & Analysis.
• May assist with internal training support.
• Collaborate with colleagues both internally and cross-functionally to address legal and business needs.
• Monitor and track project timelines and progress.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 4 years of experience, preferably in the context of an in-house legal department.
• Familiarity with technology solutions such as JIRA/Confluence, Google Workspace, Slack, Airtable, Thomson Reuters Legal Tracker, Coupa and Oracle.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to interact well with colleagues and management.
• A self-starter with enthusiasm, who can work independently and also assist/support the Legal Operations Team.

Hours: 40 Hours / Week

Location: Oakland, CA (Hybrid)

Duration: 11 Months

Hourly Pay Rate: $60 - $70 / hour ($120,000 - $140,000 annualized)
