What you’ll get to do 

• Estimating and bidding construction projects for the ______________ market 

• Set up schedules, purchase orders, subcontracts, and contract documents for project execution 

• Monitor budget and cost reports and research where changes may be appropriate 

• Ensure payments to various project vendors and subcontractors 

• Verification of final contract quantities with the customer, client, or government agency, particularly the Department of Transportation 

• Collaborate with the Environmental and Health & Safety departments to ensure all laws and regulations are met Establish, lead, and maintain safe working environments for all 

Essential Experience and Skills 

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant discipline or at least 8 years of relevant work experience

• At least 4 years of construction experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills

• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Preferred Experience and Skills 

• Experience with the DOT bidding process and ECMS a plus 

• Working knowledge of Hard Dollar / scheduling software 

Work Environment 

• Role operates in a manufacturing environment with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, elevated noise levels, and dusty conditions
