Register and enroll new students.Processes correspondence to and from the guidance office.Organizes and maintains electronic and paper copies of student records and files.Screens telephone calls, takes and relays messages, furnishes certain information within the policy framework or directs calls to proper channels as deemed appropriate.Schedules appointments for the guidance staff and maintains Google calendars.Complies and organizes the scholarship processEnter MCAS, SAT, ACT, AP, and other test scores in PowerSchool as needed.-Responsible for the work permit process as well as issuing work permits.-Prepares records for students who are transferring or graduating-Verify and confirm graduation dates for employment purposes.-Sends official transcripts to colleges or employers.-Assists with the organization and planning of our college fair.-Assists in keeping the guidance website up to date.-Greets all visitors to the guidance office.-Assists new residents with questions pertaining to the high school and community and with registering new students-Other work as assigned by the supervisor.
