Leidos is Hiring a System Administrator (Network Tools) Near Mafb Gun Annx, AL
Job Description
The System Administrator selected for this position can operate one of the various network toolsets to include HP Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS), Linux, or Netbackup.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manages the functionality and efficiency of selected tools servers on multiple operating systems.
- Maintain the integrity and security of servers and systems
- Set up administrator and service accounts.
- Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources
- Program in an administrative language
- Provides training to junior administrators
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned
- Participate in special projects as required
- Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks.
- Desktop system management responsibilities involving account monitoring; security; Operating System (OS) installation; and other local area system administration related functions.
- Performs work within the defined SLAs
- Work independently and as a team member
- Support on-call rotation schedule
- Cross train capabilities with other team members
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 3 - 8 years of prior relevant experience
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Must have an active Secret Clearance
- An IAT certification: Security CE, CCNA Security, CySA , GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP
- Additional cert required: Linux , HBSS/ESS, or NetBackup or associated technical certification is required
Pay Range $46,800.00 - $72,000.00 - $97,200.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
