Job SummaryLeitner-Poma of America, Inc. is seeking a highly-skilled & detail-oriented Electrical Field Engineer I to design, develop, test, and maintain various electrical systems, equipment, and components. This role will collaborate with customers and team members to troubleshoot electrical systems, research and develop solutions, and commission PLCs, HMIs, and AC drives and motors. Additionally, this roll will develop complex electrical designs, engineering documentation, and instructional materials to be distributed to customers and various team members. This is a full-time, exempt position hiring at $60,320-$67,329 per year based on relevant experience & certifications. RequirementsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or computer science engineering from an ABET accredited engineering school.
Member of professional practice organization, member of local program or committee.
Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
Ability to work in inclement weather in a mountainous environment at heights in excess of 20 feet.
Authorized to work in the United States of America.
Proficient in the English language.
Desired Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Office.
At least 3 years of design experience, including Electrical CAD systems and database management.
At least 2 years of experience with integrated automation/information systems in a manufacturing environment.
At least 2 years of experience with Rockwell Software.
At least 2 years of experience with DC and/or AC drives and motors.
Previous experience with National Electrical Code (NEC) and Arc-Flash (NFPA-70).
