Description
JOB SUMMARY
As a Manufacturing Paint & Sandblast Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for the oversight and management of production shift employees and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and quantity standards. This is a full-time, hourly position hiring at $27.00-$32.00 per hour based on relevant experience & certifications.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversees production operations on assigned shift.
• Prepares work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
• Oversees the shift workflow and assignments of the production shift.
• Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment.
• Trains and manages production employees on the assigned shift.
• Ensures that products are identified, weighed, and warehoused correctly.
• Troubleshoots issues that arise.
• Notifies maintenance department of equipment problems.
• Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Ensures paperwork is completed and signed correctly.
• Works with the management team in hiring qualified department candidates.
• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
• Manages to maintain a clean and organized shift.
• Activity involved in 5S and Kaizen events.
• Utilizes Lean 6 Sigma Management Principles and practices.
• Responsible for the quality of production produced on the shift.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma/GED equivalent
• At least 1 year of leadership experience in an industrial setting
• Authorized to work in the United States of America.
• Proficient in the English language.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated experience using Lean 6 Sigma management principles and practices.
