The Lemont Park District Legacy Gymnastics Academy is expanding and looking for energetic, active, responsible, compassionate employees who love working with children to help us with our ever-expanding program! We are looking for individuals willing to learn and interested in the sport of gymnastics or Ninja Warriors. These instructors could teach group, private, or semi-private lessons.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Understand and teach classes according to the Lemont Park District's Gymnastics program class curriculum.
• Ensure that all participants stay safe through educating them on safe practices and making sure that all areas are up to safety standards.
• Lead activities during special events, including weekends such as Open Gyms, Camps or Gymnastics/Ninja Birthday Parties.
• Must work at least one birthday party a month.
• Conduct and record regularly scheduled equipment safety checks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years of age; 15 years of age with an Illinois Worker’s Permit.
• Knowledge of the sport of Gymnastics or Ninja warrior.
• Ability to work with others and take direction.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification within 90 days of hire.

Work Environment:

Work will take place indoors in a typical gymnast environment. Employee must have the ability to perform all physical aspects of the position, including standing, bending, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, running, and lifting. Exposure to cleaning and disinfecting supplies. Exposure to noise, dust, gymnastics chalk and elevation.
