As a Mental Health Professional for Lenape Valley Foundation (LVF), you will play a vital role on our Crisis Residential Team. Tasked with a broad range of responsibilities, you will lead and guide other program teammates, communicate with program management and consult on treatment as needed. The Crisis Residential program, known as The Lodge, is the newest program at LVF and is the first of its kind in Bucks County! We would love for you to join this exciting venture!
Available Shifts:

  • Part-Time
  • Sunday 7am – 7:30 pm

What You'll Offer

  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation, activity therapies, counseling, education or related fields and 3 years of mental health direct care experience OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation, activity therapies, counseling, education or related fields and 5 years of mental health direct care experience, two of which must be supervisory.
  • Working knowledge of Crisis Services PREFERRED
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with the ability to travel throughout Bucks County
  • May be required to work during emergencies, including inclement weather
  • Experience working in an Electronic Health Record
  • Computer proficient
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job description, with or without accommodation

What You'll Do:

  • Provision of Group Therapy and Individual Treatment Planning
  • In coordination with the Therapist, conduct group therapy sessions according to the milieu of the group; establish the agenda, including the identification of issues to be discussed by group and facilitate communication between group members
  • Educate guest/supports regarding identified problems, therapeutic interventions, and expected outcomes.
  • Complete initial assessments for new guests. Provide service coordination and support to individuals focusing on the person’s Individualize Support Plan, treatment goals and discharge plans. Assist in the developing, implementing, evaluating and revising of overall treatment goals and plans in collaboration with the guest and therapist. Advocate for guests’ rights and preferences.
  • Provide ongoing assessment, problem solving, side by side services, skill training, and environmental adaptations to assist individuals with activities of daily living as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team in the on-going assessment of participant’s mental health struggles and responses treatment
  • Facilities Operation and Upkeep
  • Crisis Stabilization
  • Maintain vigilance and be prepared to respond to a resident’s needs and emergencies appropriately by intervening directly and/or contacting indicated supportive staff, agencies and services. Possess the ability to see and hear all crises/emergencies to ensure resident and site safety and security.
  • Work with the guest to develop their crisis stabilization plan, provide scheduled check-ins on stabilization goal progresses.
