Lenape Valley Foundation is Hiring a Therapist- ACT Program Near DOYLESTOWN, PA

We are seeking a qualified Therapist to join our Assertive Community Treatment Program (ACT). We are a recovery -oriented mental health service model that facilitates community living, psychosocial rehabilitation, and recovery of persons with serious mental illness and impairments who have not benefited from traditional outpatient programs. This is a mobile position with services delivered both onsite and in the community.

What You Offer: 

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
  • Experience working with individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness.
  • Possess the ability to document proficiently in an electronic health record.
  • Prior experience in an ACT program preferred
  • Driver’s license 
  • Possess the ability to perform the physical requirements of the service contract, with or without accommodation.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Assess, plan, develop, coordinate and provide treatment and support services to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness
  • Function as a clinical member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Provide individual supportive therapy as well as group therapy
  • Provide coordination of care, on call crisis management, complete assessments, treatment planning and documentation
