Responsibilities •Interface with realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction while overseeing all customer interactions
•Review the loan process by monitoring loan status, term conformity, and regulatory guidelines
•Maintain an active rolling pipeline of funding per our guidelines
•Maintain and build relationships through networking and prospecting with bankers, realtors, builders, and your community to attract new business
•Counsel borrowers to understand the pros and cons of different loan products to determine which is best for them
Qualifications •
Must reside in Michigan - position is located onsite in our Troy, MI office •
NMLS is preferred, but not required •Understanding of loan originator software
•Understand a variety of loans such as FHA, VA, conventional, fixed/ adjustable, etc.
•Knowledge of state and federal regulations, and company underwriting policies and guidelines
•Experience with Loadasoft, Salesforce, and Arrive is a plus
•Knowledge of state and federal regulations, and company underwriting policies and guidelines
•Exceptional decision-making ability, superior written and verbal communication skills, and superb interpersonal and customer service skills required
•Several years of experience in real estate, mortgage origination, or lending required
•Must have an active NMLS Mortgage Originator License
