We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Systems Administrator with networking knowledge to join our New York office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking or IT, coupled with a passion for helping others succeed in their roles. 

Responsibilities:

• Configuring and triaging physical and virtual networks, switches, access points (APs), firewalls and VPN Solutions
• Installing, tracking, and maintaining software and applications on company machines using JAMF
• Deploying solutions for the administration of Mac and Linux computers, including upgrades and maintenance
• Tracking assets, responding to device loss, and ordering new devices as needed
• Performing hardware and network maintenance and upgrades in the office
• Setting up new accounts, laptops, and desktops for new hires, and handling off-boarding for departing employees
• Providing technical support to end-users and resolving IT-related issues in a timely manner
• Conducting security tutorials for team members to promote awareness and best practices
• Documenting system configurations, procedures, and best practices
• Managing vendor relationships and coordinating support as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunication and Networks or related field
• Proven experience as a system administrator and network administrator, with specific experience in Meraki, Gsuite, Jamf, Zoom administration(AV), One login, configuring and managing printers and administrative work for JIRA preferred
• Strong understanding of networking principles and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols
• 2 years of system administration experience preferredProficiency in deploying and managing solutions for Mac and Linux environments
• Strong communication skills, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Preferred completion of JAMF 100 course
