Title: Risk Management Analyst - Anti-Financial Crime (AFC)Location: Jacksonville, FLRemote/Hybrid/Onsite: HybridPosition Type: Contract, possible temp-to-permDuration: 6 monthsRate: $42.00- $46.00 hrRole OverviewThe Risk Management Analyst will support the development and execution of the framework for escalating customers of concern involved in AFC risk events (e.g., Suspicious Activity Reports). This includes determining appropriate actions such as increasing customer risk ratings, performing enhanced due diligence, and potentially exiting customer relationships.
ResponsibilitiesProactively define the list of AFC risk events requiring escalation and review.
Participate in the Customer Risk Working Group with AFC teams and business partners to:
Analyze customer relationships in light of AFC risk events.
Escalate customers to Senior Management if necessary.
Determine proposed actions to manage customer risk.
Partner with the business and Corporate Bank AFC Advisory to conduct targeted reviews of correspondent bank customers during higher AFC risk events.
Escalate customers and proposed actions to the Americas AFC Risk Identification Forum (RIF) for review and decision-making.
Drive the agenda, materials, and lead discussions at the RIF.
Track decisions and actions made at the RIF, ensuring all actions have an owner and are followed through to completion.
Disseminate customer risk metrics (e.g., triggers and SAR trends) to the RIF.
Ensure alignment between business-owned forums and the RIF.
Conduct customer reviews as requested by Global AFC.
QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent; JD or MBA a plus.
1-3 years of experience within the AFC function or in business line roles supporting the AFC program.
Knowledge of bank customers, products, and services.
Skills That Will Help You ExcelPrevious experience with regulators is a plus.
Some experience in leading and performing financial crime investigations.
Experience in multiple AFC programs (AML, Sanctions, ABC, Fraud).
An articulate and effective speaker and presenter.
Ability to act decisively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Robust, credible, and organizationally savvy, with the ability to grasp complex issues quickly.
Ability to work independently to manage projects and deliverables to completion.
Strategically agile with strong influencing and presentation skills for all levels of internal management.
