Job Description

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity at our Stuttgart, Arkansas manufacturing facility for someone with a passion for maintenance and leadership.

The Facility Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of maintenance professionals to meet daily production goals without compromising safety or quality.

This role will also develop long term strategies to improve safety, quality, and efficiency results.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage preventative maintenance program for equipment facilities.
  • Inspect completed work to check that repairs have been completed correctly and that machinery and equipment conform to specifications and safety standards.
  • Monitor the condition of maintenance equipment, materials, parts and tools that are used by maintenance workers in their day to day activities.
  • Coach and mentor maintenance staff and assist them to diagnose more complex problem with machinery or equipment problems.
  • Prioritize and assign tasks so the team’s resources are used effectively and work schedules and targets are met.
  • Train new workers in the organization’s operating procedures and standards.
  • Coordinate with outside contractors for service contracts.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications :

  • 3-5 years of leadership experience
  • Ability to be a strong team player.
  • Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude.
  • Able to read and interpret vendor manuals and drawings.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to learn and apply maintenance best practices.
  • Ability to organize and plan tasks.

Top candidates will also have :

  • Experience with SAP.
  • Experience in a large, 24 / 7 manufacturing operation.
