Job Description What will the job look like? You Will Be Responsible For
- Collaborating with manufacturing operations to perform manufacturing studies and analysis for accuracy of bills of material.
- Creating master data according to specified guidelines.
- Creating or changing Bills of Materials for parts or assemblies by using reference data (engineering drawings, specification, or calculation tools) under the direction of engineers.
- Performing preparation tasks for material cost estimates for parts.
- Interfaces with engineering, purchasing, cost accounting, and plant material planners to ensure correctness of data created.
- Completing Engineering Change Notice (ECN) as assigned
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires at least 2 years related experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills .
- Ability to communicate and anticipate needs.
- Ability to identify root causes.
- Sense of urgency to complete tasks.
- Ability to understand engineering documents.
- Experience in systems working with bills of materials.
- Knowledge of engineering change processes is beneficial.
- Effective cross-functional communication skills.
