Responsibilities

-Assist attorneys, realtor, lenders, and clients with all phases of real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing.

-Conduct or review title searches, review title commitments, and prepare title report and summaries.

-Coordinate and manage due diligence activities including reviewing surveys, environmental reports, zoning documents, and property tax records.

-Draft and review transactional documents, such as purchase agreements, leases, deeds, mortgages, and closing documents.

-Prepare closing binders and coordinate closings, including scheduling, preparing closing statements, and disbursing funds.

-Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, lenders, title companies and other parties involved in real estate transactions.

-Coordinate with real estate brokers, lenders and third party service providers to facilitate timely closings.

-Assist in the preparation of and filing of real estate - related documents with government agencies and regulatory bodies.

-Maintain an organized and up to date electronic and physical files for all real estate matters.

-Stay current with developments in real estate law and assist staff and attorneys in researching and analyzing legal issues as needed.

Qualifications

-10 hands-on experience in title insurance production, demonstrating proficiency in overseeing the operations of a title agency from inception to completion.

-Essential managerial acumen.
