Description
The Project Manager is responsible for leading the project management function for the credit union. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and leading a variety of project teams to ensure all project deliverables are completed on time and within budget, in conformance with established Credit Union policies and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for planning, organizing and directing the credit union’s projects such as application/software related projects, as well as projects involving cross functional areas within the organization from beginning to end.
2. Develops, implements and champions the project management processes and procedures for the credit union.
3. Manages multiple, complex projects from planning through delivery simultaneously. Liaises between all business units/departments, project team members, external vendors and all stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, costs and meeting plans are communicated.
4. Defines project scope, goals and deliverables that support the business goals in collaboration with management and stakeholders.
5. Uses appropriate tools to create detailed project plans including timelines, tasks, budgets, milestones, etc.
6. Facilitates project meetings for the project team and stakeholders to communicate project expectations, schedule, track progress, and discuss any applicable changes and/or risks.
7. Estimates the credit union’s resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
8. Identifies and resolves issue and conflicts with the project team.
9. Delivers progress reports and presentations as needed to the Senior Management Team.
10. Ensures projects include appropriate testing strategies and plans.
11. Understands interdependencies between the credit union’s technology, operations, and business needs.
12. Conducts project postmortems with project team to identify and examine the challenges and successes and create a report of actionable takeaways.
13. Keeps informed of developments within the banking industry and keeps current on trends in project management. Attends meetings and seminars as needed.
14. Models the credit union’s values of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Fosters an inclusive work environment by seeking team members’ perspectives, actively listening to others' opinions and experiences, and modeling and encouraging respectful communication among the team.
15. Adheres to all LCU policies and procedures. Responsible for compliance with the following regulations: BSA, OFAC and other regulations are required.

The salary range for this role is between $82,786 and $103,483. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors as permitted by law. This position is eligible to work remotely up to 2 days per week after 3 months of hire in accordance with the Work From Home guidelines.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in coursework or training. Three to five years of formal project management experience and three to five years of experience working in IT or with systems within a financial institution. PMP Certification is required. Advanced technical skills are required, including knowledge of different operating systems, cybersecurity, network administration and service desk help and ability to apply this knowledge to drive project success. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to manage diverse project teams and explain technical issues. Excellent organizational, time management, analytical and problem-solving skills. Must have a flexible approach to adapt to changes in priorities and timelines.
