Summary of Position:

Client is a Fortune 150 company located in Miami,FL. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams, contribute to process improvements, and drive innovation through effective requirements management.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business needs, objectives, and desired outcomes by conducting and brainstorming sessions to extract requirements effectively.
  • Evaluate gathered requirements for feasibility, relevance, and impact on the project and work closely with technical teams to ensure the proposed solutions align with business needs.
  • Create clear and concise business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), use cases, and user stories.
  • Develop process flow diagrams, wireframes, and mock-ups to illustrate requirements visually.
  • Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and methodologies related to requirements gathering and documentation to support continuous improvement.
  • Assist in translating requirements into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, and user acceptance testing.
  • Highlight/identify gaps in existing functionality and review requirements with stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance documentation templates, and improve the overall efficiency of the BA function.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in creating formal documentation with appropriate requirements.
  • Experience analyzing business requirements to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Knowledge of business processes and applications.
  • Ability to think analytically and conduct customer-facing communications.
  • Ability to focus on business priorities and imperatives.
  • Robust skills in documentation creation with a high attention to detail including planning and organization.
  • Strong experience in requirements gathering.
