You will be joining a growing dynamic team on one of the most exciting programmes within the industry and beyond, assisting in delivery of our current projects as well as supporting our forward planning as this programme continues to develop.
ActivitiesSupport our team in delivery of our current commitments.
Provide clear and consistent messaging and updates into our internal and external stakeholders.
Proactively manage stakeholders.
Coordinate and monitor activities related to one or more projects.
Develop and mentor less senior project managers and ensure best practice approaches are well engrained within the IPT.
Support the IPT in cost and risk management, and other KPI reporting metrics.
Support bid activities.
Develop robust, long term relationships with international partners and customers alike.
Ensure best practice project governance through LifeCycle Management
What We Need From You
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplined teams (Including, but not limited to - Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Planning, Manufacturing and Operations)
- Demonstrated experience with complex programmes in a military environment
- Demonstrated experience of delivering complex export projects
- Demonstrated ability to operate with multiple senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated strong Customer relationship skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in all aspects of project planning, scheduling, work package management, sub-contract management and cost control
- Degree qualified or equivalent
- Flexible and adaptable to change and adversity
- Excellent problem solving skills and initiative with the ability to think laterally
